What an auditor asks, and what you can now show
FSSC 22000 clause 2.5.8, BRCGS 1.1.2, SQF 2.1.1.2 and IFS 1.1.2 all ask the same question in different words: show me how you measure your food safety and quality culture, what you found, and what you did about it. A poster and a signed policy do not answer it. This pack does.
What you get
- Worker questionnaire: 16 statements, 1 to 10 scale, anonymous, on a link and a QR code. Workers answer on their own phones in five minutes. Results are grouped by department, shift and employment type so agency and night shift are never invisible.
- Manager and supervisor questionnaire: 16 statements on commitment, resources, work pressure, coaching and measurement. The gap between the manager view and the worker view is one of the most useful findings in the report.
- Anonymous feedback link: a speak up channel that works, with every entry emailed to your QA manager at once and logged for the five working day acknowledgement rate.
- Manager dashboard: training and competency by position (agency and contractors included), speak up log, GMP and hygiene inspections per department, behavioural observation walks, senior management floor walks, sixteen lead and lag indicators with targets, and a twelve criterion maturity assessment scored from evidence.
- Suggested actions: every statement under 80 percent, every indicator off target, every maturity criterion at level 1 or 2 and every behaviour under 80 percent compliance is turned into a draft action with an owner and a timeframe. Accept, edit, track to closure with evidence and an effectiveness check.
- Culture objectives in the eight part format the schemes expect: objective, baseline, target, measure, owner, deadline, sections reached, review.
- Audit ready report: culture index, results by FSSC 22000 element and GFSI dimension (position paper V2.0, 2026), all the evidence, the objectives, the action plan with due dates, an evidence map for the auditor and a sign off block. How it works
- Buy the pack. Your workspace is created on ascfoodsafety.com and the welcome email carries your dashboard link.
- Enter your site name, departments, shifts and the manager who must receive the report.
- Print the QR posters and put them up on every shift. Every response reaches the admin email you enter and appears on the dashboard at once.
- Add your training records, inspections, monthly indicators and the maturity assessment as you go.
- Generate the report, accept the actions, and table it at the management review. Run the next round in six or twelve months and show the trend.
Built on the standards
The four elements of FSSC 22000 2.5.8 (communication, training, feedback and engagement, performance measurement) plus demonstrable senior management commitment give the report its structure. The GFSI position paper A Culture of Food Safety Version 2.0 (March 2026) gives the questionnaires their lens: company values, vision and mission; people; hazard and risk awareness; consistency; adaptability, change and continuous improvement.
