ASCloud is a web application and a set of mobile apps engineered for the factory floor, the farm and the kitchen, by people who build software and people who sit in audits.
ASCloud runs as a web application in any modern browser and as apps for Apple iPhone and iPad and for Android phones and tablets. The Google Play listing reports no data collection and no sharing with third parties. Every user signs in with one personal account, and a check captured on a phone on the line, a tablet in the cold room or a laptop in the QA office lands in the same record, with the same audit trail, in real time once the device is online.
Engineered by software people and food safety people together
Most food safety software is written by developers guessing at the standard, or by consultants guessing at the software. ASCloud is built by ASC's own software and web development team working beside its lead auditors, so every screen answers two questions at once: is this fast enough for an operator with gloves on, and will it stand up when the auditor samples it.
The same team builds and supports ASC's training platform, online shop and client portals, which is why ASCloud setup includes a food safety specialist and why a change in a scheme reaches your checklists as an update rather than a new project.
Built to be integrated

App questions, answered
Is there an ASCloud app for iPhone and Android?
Yes. The ASCloud Android app is on Google Play, with daily to annual checklists, CAPAs, training records, complaints, incidents, pest control records, traceability from receiving to shipping and push notifications for assigned tasks and approvals. The Apple iPhone and iPad app runs the same system. The web application runs in any modern browser, and your team signs in with the same named account on every device.
Do the apps work without signal?
Checklists already open on a device can be completed without signal and upload when the connection returns. Keep devices charged, because records waiting to sync stay on the device until then.
Do we need special hardware?
No. Any recent Android or Apple phone or tablet works, and rugged tablets are a good choice for wet or cold areas. Many sites mount one tablet per line or section and give supervisors the app on their own phones.
Is the data secure?
Every user has a personal login, every record is linked to the person who made it, and access is set by role. See the security page for how records are stored, protected, backed up and exported.
