What is ASCloud?
ASCloud is a paperless food safety management system built in South Africa by ASC Food Safety Consultants. It holds your documents, checklists, records and sign-offs for R638, HACCP, GFSI Global Markets, GLOBALG.A.P., FSSC 22000, BRCGS, SQF and IFS on one platform, as a web application and as apps for Apple and Android devices.
How much does it cost?
From R499 per site per month for R638, and from R3,800 for a full document FSMS. Add-on modules start from R650 a month. Setup is once-off from R3,850. Prices exclude VAT and are invoiced in rand. See the pricing page and the package builder.
Can I see prices in my own currency?
Yes. Use the currency picker at the top of any page. Other currencies are converted from rand at a dated reference rate and are a guide. Invoices are issued in South African rand.
Is VAT included?
No. South African clients pay VAT at 15%. VAT treatment for clients outside South Africa is confirmed on your quote.
Where is our data held, and who owns it?
You own your records. Full export in an open format is free within 30 days if you leave. See the security page for how data is stored, protected and backed up, and our POPIA privacy policy.
Does it work offline?
Checklists already open on a device can be completed without signal and upload when the connection returns. Keep devices charged, because records waiting to sync stay on the device until then.
How long does setup take?
Five working days for a standard single site with its documents supplied, delivered in one week or spread over a month. Complex sites are quoted and capped in writing first.
Can a business outside South Africa use ASCloud?

How do we switch from paper?
During setup we load your standard, your documents and your checklists, migrate the records within the scope on your quote and train your team in two live sessions. Most sites retire the printed checklist in the first week.
What is the minimum contract?
There is no long-term lock-in. Plans are billed monthly and you may cancel with 60 days' written notice. Annual prepay saves 15%. New subscriptions carry a 60-day money-back guarantee on subscription fees.
Does ASCloud guarantee certification?
No software can. ASCloud holds the system and the evidence, and ASC specialists set it up with you. Your team's records make you ready, and the certification body decides.
