ASCloud is a paperless food safety system for food, beverage and pharmaceutical operations, used on the web and on iPhone, iPad and Android. One login covers the dashboard, HACCP plan, document control, offline checklists, CAPAs, suppliers, audits, traceability and quarterly trend analysis. Plans run from R499 per site per month, full FSMS from R3,800, excluding VAT, as at September 2026.

Food safety professional reviewing the ASCloud quarterly trend analysis on a desktop monitor
From daily checks to quarterly trend analysis: the same records, rolled up for management review.
Records that become intelligence

Every check your team completes feeds the trend view your management review needs

Non-conformities by focus area, root causes, CAPA status and risk level, generated from live data instead of a weekend of copy-and-paste. Your quarterly food safety trend analysis writes itself.

A paperless system for a food factory replaces paper monitoring records with digital checklists, sign-offs and time-stamped audit trails. ASCloud pre-loads the factory's certification standard before first login, keeps open checklists working offline during load shedding, and gives every user their own named login so the person doing the check makes the record. A standard single site is live in five working days.

The morning dashboard

The compliance dashboard: your audit position each morning

One screen shows the whole site: what was checked, what was missed, which corrective actions are ageing and how far away the next audit is. The gap shows on Tuesday, days before the auditor arrives.

  • Live compliance score per site, line and shift
  • Every missed check escalates to a named person
  • One-click, scheme-formatted audit pack export

Shown with example data. Your dashboard is configured to your standard during your five-day setup.

HACCP & risk assessment

HACCP plan: hazard analysis and CCP monitoring as live records

Build the hazard analysis with the decision tree, score it on the matrix, and watch every CCP and oPRP become a live monitoring task with its critical limits attached. When monitoring drifts, the corrective action opens itself.

  • Codex decision tree with recorded reasoning per hazard
  • CCP limits drive the checklists automatically
  • Validation and verification records in the same thread

Checklists & monitoring

Checklists: the person doing the check makes the record

Every operator, cleaner and line supervisor gets their own free login. Checks are assigned by shift, captured on any phone or tablet with photos and signatures, and time-stamped into an audit trail that shows late or edited entries.

  • Named logins for every user; every entry attributable
  • Checklists keep working when the signal drops, syncs on reconnect
  • Missed checks escalate before the auditor finds them

One current version everywhere, with proof it was read

The 590+ template library arrives pre-loaded for your standard, with version control that retires old copies the moment a new one is approved. Every acknowledgement is logged, so "the team has been trained on the new SOP" is a record with names and dates behind it.

  • Approval workflows with named sign-offs
  • Review dates that chase the owner, not the QA manager

Traceability: the BRCGS test from linked batch records

One lot number pulls the whole story: supplier, intake, batches, processing records, despatch, customer. Run the mock recall your certification body requires from live data instead of a weekend of spreadsheets.

Built-in audit checklists

Every audit run on a tablet, with the report generated when the last question is answered.

Assign them to auditors, complete them on a tablet or desktop, track non-conformances, and export formatted audit reports. Completed checklists instantly produce audit-ready reports with compliance scores, non-conformances, corrective action logs and evidence attachments.

The product, not a brochure

Walk through ASCloud the way a specialist would show it to you.

The first three are the screens of a working site, redrawn pixel for pixel with the client's details replaced. The rest show a site running at full tilt, with illustrative data, so you can see where it goes. Scroll, and the screen follows the step.

  1. Dashboard · as on a live site

The first screen your quality manager sees

One folder per standard on your plan, loaded before the first login: here FSSC 22000 additional requirements, ISO 22000:2018, the ISO/TS 22002 prerequisite programmes, process control and the checklists. Nobody built this. It arrived with the subscription, mapped by ASC lead auditors.

  2. Compliance checklists · as on a live site

Every inspection, counted, assigned and watched

Daily, weekly, monthly, annual and as-needed inspections, each showing the templates that exist, who they are assigned to and how many are done. A check that is not done on time shows here first and escalates to the supervisor.

  3. Digitise · as on a live site

Drop in your paper form, get a digital checklist back

Your existing checklist document, in Word, Excel, PDF or a photo, is read field by field and turned into a checklist template. The forms your team already knows become the screens they tap, with no rebuild and no retraining on a new layout.

  4. Daily inspections · illustrative data

    Today, at a glance

Fourteen checks due across three lines and two cold stores, twelve done, one overdue and already escalated. Each row carries the version, the named people responsible, the frequency and the status, with thirty-day compliance beside it.

  5. Checklist · illustrative data

A check being done, on the floor, right now

Cold room 2 reads 9.1 °C against a limit of 5 °C. The system opens a corrective action by itself, puts the two affected lots on hold and alerts the shift supervisor. A photo of the door seal and the operator's signature sit on the same record, time-stamped, synced when the signal returns.

  6. HACCP risk · illustrative data

The HACCP plan as a living record

Hazards scored by severity and likelihood, the Codex decision tree answered per step, CCPs and OPRPs classified, and each control measure tied to the monitoring checklist that proves it. Microorganisms named properly, Listeria monocytogenes included.

  7. Management · illustrative data

Document control that auditors sign off in minutes

Versions, approval workflow, read receipts across 31 users, superseded copies withdrawn automatically, and the clause each document answers. A scheme update arrives as proposed revisions, with the changed clauses counted.

  8. CAPA · illustrative data

    From non-conformance to verified closure

The breach from the cold room becomes a CAPA with a root cause, owners, dates and a verification step, and a timeline showing the alert reached the supervisor in two minutes. The auditor sees the whole chain from one screen.

  9. Suppliers · illustrative data

Suppliers keep their own evidence current

Risk ratings, approval basis, certificate expiry with reminders sent to the supplier, delivery performance scored from receiving checks, and a lapsed certificate blocking that material at the door until it is renewed.

  10. Traceability · illustrative data

One lot, one search, forty-one seconds

Backward to the chicken, premix and packaging lots with their certificates, forward to every delivery note and customer, with the CCP records and the hold-and-release linked. Mass balance to the kilogram. BRCGS allows four hours.

  11. Recall · illustrative data

The mock recall, timed and evidenced

An allergen scenario on one premix lot: affected finished lots identified in two minutes, quantities shipped and in stock, customer notices generated, recovery tracked, and the whole exercise saved as audit evidence.

  12. Analytics · illustrative data

The numbers the management review needs

Thirteen weeks of compliance, checks on time, CAPA closure time, days to audit, the weakest area and the top non-conformance, and the environmental monitoring trend with the one positive Listeria swab and its clearance.

  13. Calendar · illustrative data

    Every obligation on one calendar

Scheduled checks, pest control visits, calibrations, supplier audits, certificate expiries, the mock recall, the internal audit and the management review, with an Outlook sync for the people who live in their diary.

  14. Monitoring · illustrative data

Probes, loggers and people on one log

Temperature loggers, scales and the metal detector write into the same log as the person with the phone, each reading against its limit with the calibration certificate behind it. A breach escalates within minutes and the chain of who was told when is kept.
