Why Zimbabwean food businesses go paperless with ASCloud
Zimbabwean processors know power cuts and patchy networks better than anyone. Paper feels safer, until the monitoring sheet from the night shift goes missing. ASCloud checklists can be completed on a charged device without signal and upload when the connection returns, with the time the check was actually done kept on the record.
Growers and packhouses exporting citrus, blueberries and other fresh produce get the GLOBALG.A.P. and SIZA requirement sets on the Primary plan.
Buyers, markets and the standards they ask for
- Fresh produce exporters to the European Union, United Kingdom and South Africa are asked for GLOBALG.A.P. and often SIZA
- Processors supplying South African retailers and multinational brands are asked for HACCP, FSSC 22000 or GFSI Global Markets progress
- Regional trade within SADC and COMESA rewards producers with consistent quality records
Setup, support and invoicing
Setup for sites outside South Africa is scoped on your written quote, including how much of the configuration and training runs online and whether on-site days are needed. Any travel is quoted before anything is booked. Support runs during South African office hours (Zimbabwe shares South African time). Invoices are issued in South African rand, quarterly or annually in advance, because debit orders are not available across borders.

Questions from Zimbabwe
Which currency are Zimbabwe prices shown in?
We show US dollars and rand for Zimbabwe, because both are widely used for business payments. Invoices are issued in South African rand.
Does ASCloud work with patchy connectivity?
Checklists already open on a device can be completed without signal and upload when the connection returns. Keep devices charged, because records waiting to sync stay on the device until then.
Can growers and packhouses use it?
Yes. The Primary plan loads GLOBALG.A.P. IFA v6 and SIZA requirement sets for farms and packhouses, from R2,500 per site per month.
