Why this travels
An ISO standard is the same document everywhere
ISO 22000 is published by the International Organization for Standardization and adopted unchanged by national standards bodies. The clause you are audited against is identical whichever country your certification body operates from, which is exactly why the documentation travels.
- Clauses 4 to 10 in the High Level Structure: context, leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation and improvement.
- Hazard analysis and the operational plan, including OPRPs and critical control points.
- Interested parties, risk and opportunity, the parts most sites find hardest to evidence.
- Compatible in structure with ISO 9001, so an existing quality system can be integrated rather than duplicated.
Straight answer
What a toolkit does, and what it does not do
You get the documented system already written and structured to the standard: the manual, procedures, forms, registers and risk assessments. That is normally the slowest part of getting certified and the part that is identical from one site to the next.
It does not implement itself. Someone at your site still has to make the documents true, with your process steps, your hazards, your suppliers and your monitoring records. Local food law, such as labelling and permits, stays local and is yours to add.
If you would rather not do that alone, we work with teams remotely as well as on site.
Common questions
Before you buy
Is ISO 22000 the same as FSSC 22000?
We already hold ISO 9001. Does that help?
Does this include prerequisite programmes?
Which edition is it written to?
What language and file formats do I get?
Why is the price in South African rand?
ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000?
The answer depends entirely on whether your customer requires GFSI recognition. It is worth thirty seconds of checking before you spend anything.
