What is GLOBALG.A.P.?

GLOBALG.A.P. is the world’s leading farm-assurance standard. Its Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) standard covers good agricultural practice across four areas: food safety, workers’ health, safety and welfare, environmental care, and traceability. The current release, Version 6, restructured the standard and tightened several control points. Certification requires a documented management system, risk assessments, procedures and records that show your farm meets those control points.

A GLOBALG.A.P. inspection checks your farm against a long list of control points and compliance criteria, and much of the evidence is documentary: risk assessments, procedures, training records, spray and fertiliser records, and traceability data.
